On the heels of HeyTea‘s debut and Cold Stone Creamery‘s upcoming arrival, yet another sweet spot is joining the lineup at Wintergreen Plaza. This time it’s Tropical Smoothie Cafe, replacing the just-closed Capital Cryo. The Wintergreen location will be the fifth in Montgomery County — and the second on Rockville Pike — for local franchisee Rafik Fouad. He says the food draws as many customers as the smoothies. “We have wraps, flatbreads, quesadillas, açaí bowls, sandwiches and salads,” Fouad says. “Our prices are reasonable, and we have customers who come here for lunch every day of the week.”
