Nordstrom Rack made its long-awaited debut on Rockville Pike this week, fully decked out for the holidays with clothes, accessories, beauty products and table after table of festive gifts. In the lower level of the old Buy Buy Baby space at Congressional Plaza, this new store is about one-third smaller than the one on Shady Grove Road. But with so many bargains around every corner, it really doesn’t feel like anything’s missing. Women’s clothing is the star here, with popular brands like Vince, Free People, Cinq à Sept, Rag & Bone, Lucky, Favorite Daughter and Jason Wu. The beauty section is also huge, with skin care products, fragrance, shampoo, body wash and lots of Korean beauty lines. Menswear, kids’ clothing and home goods are covered as well, and there’s a vast array of tech accessories and stocking stuffers.
