Potentially huge news for the Rockville Pike retail scene: We’re hearing buzz that Nordstrom Rack is heading to Congressional Plaza. The off-price retailer is said to be taking over the former Buy Buy Baby space, currently occupied by a short-lived Spirit Halloween pop-up. Rumor has it the two-story space will be completely redesigned for Nordstrom, with an opening expected sometime in 2026. No word yet on what this could mean for the longtime Nordstrom Rack on Shady Grove Road.
