HeyTea, a Chinese bubble tea chain that’s just beginning its U.S. expansion, will make its Maryland debut next year at Wintergreen Plaza. It will replace the SweetFrog frozen yogurt shop, which closed its doors this week. There’s certainly no shortage of bubble tea spots on Rockville Pike, but HeyTea is a little different: Its flavors are infused with chunks of fresh fruit, and its drinks are topped with cheese foam. Another location will open soon at Tysons Corner.
