After two tumultuous years of high-profile closings, Westfield Montgomery mall is finally beginning to show signs of momentum. In addition to the upcoming Zara flagship store, Mavi denim store and Beyond Yoga, two more popular tenants have just been announced.

  • Jewelry chain Gorjana is slated to open in late summer, bringing its collection of gold and gold-plated pieces at accessible price points. The California-based brand is best known for its layered mix-and-match necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
  • HeyTea, an international sensation that’s famous for its cheese-foam toppings, is aiming to open this fall on the mall’s lower level. HeyTea will take over the space that’s currently occupied by Luggage Plus, which is once again relocating within the mall.
  • Shiki, a Japanese/Thai fusion restaurant, will open in the next few weeks across from the AMC movie theater. Shiki is filling the long-empty space above Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings, which has been vacant for a decade since the closing of original tenant MET Bethesda.
  • Meanwhile, vending machine store Kako Claw is now open next door to GameStop. The shop features claw machines stocked with plush toys, keychains, anime figures and blind boxes aimed at kids and collectors alike.
