A new Asian bakery, Crust & Crumb, opened its doors this week in the former Roy Rogers space on Rockville Pike. Staffers say this shop is part of a China-based company that’s looking to expand in the U.S. The display cases are stocked with breads, pastries, cakes and cookies, some pre-packed for carry-out in festive pink boxes. There’s also a dining room where you can linger over a fruit drink, specialty tea, shaved ice or Asian-inspired dessert. You’ll find Crust & Crumb at 718 Rockville Pike, next door to Hangry Joe’s. (This Crust & Crumb is not related to another bakery of the same name in Baltimore County.)
