Months after the opening of a Glowbar facial spa at Cabin John Village, the guys are getting a spot of their own: Hammer & Nails, a “men’s grooming lounge” that just opened next to Playa Bowls. Hammer & Nails, which also has a location in Bethesda, offers all the usual barbershop services: haircuts, beard grooming, shaving and coverage of the grays. But a separate “Hand & Foot” room provides luxuries that are typically reserved for women’s salons: manicures, pedicures, waxing, skin treatments, hot towels and foot massage. To keep things manly, sports play on all the big-screen TVs and a full-service bar is on the way. All Hammer & Nails services can be booked à la carte, but the shop also offers monthly memberships starting at $110.
