Hammer & Nails, a “men’s grooming lounge” from California, will open its first Maryland location at Cabin John Village. The shop will take over the former Indigo Physiotherapy space next to Playa Bowls, offering haircuts, nail care, facials, shaving and beard grooming — all in a posh environment with leather chairs, individual TVs, noise-canceling headphones and a bar. Like Boardroom Salon for Men, which recently closed its Rockville location after a four-year run at Montrose Crossing, Hammer & Nails sells memberships that include a suite of monthly services. Opening date TBD.
