Latest update in the ongoing merger between The Container Store and Bed Bath & Beyond: From now through the end of summer, the center of the Rockville Pike store has been transformed into a one-stop “College Living” shop — and if you’re still holding on to any of those old 20% off coupons, you’re welcome to use them. The two legacy retailers, which combined forces last spring, are hoping to capture your back-to-school dollars by pairing The Container Store’s classic Elfa storage systems with Bed Bath & Beyond staples like bedding, towels, coffee makers, toaster ovens and mini-fridges. The return of Bed Bath & Beyond’s iconic coupons is another fun bonus. You can download a new one from the company’s website, but if you bring in an old one you’ll be entered into the company’s “Legendary Coupon Hunt” raffle. Grand prize is a $100,000 home makeover.
