Rockville’s Buy Buy Baby store, which has been slated for closure twice in the past two years, could wind up on the comeback trail once again. The Buy Buy Baby name has been purchased by the company formerly known as Overstock.com, which also bought the Bed Bath & Beyond name in 2023. So Bed Bath & Beyond and Buy Buy Baby, both of which narrowly survived extinction two years ago, have been reunited as sister brands once again. Supposedly there will be stores — but it’s unclear when or where they might open. Also unclear is the fate of Buy Buy Baby in Rockville, which is currently scheduled to close on Feb. 23rd.
