Korean hot dog shop Ssong’s shut down this month after nearly four years at Westfield Montgomery mall. Ssong’s, which specializes in deep-fried corn dogs filled with meat or cheese, has a number of other D.C.-area locations and recently opened a new one at Nationals Park. Owners declined to comment on why this one closed. Elsewhere on the mall food front, confectioner Chocolate Moonshine has moved into the former 7-Eleven space near the Dining Terrace. Its old spot near the center of the mall, which once belonged to Godiva, is rumored to be the new home for Swiss chocolatier Läderach.
