Four months after Chinese chef Peter Chang sold his Rockville restaurant to a pair of longtime employees, the business has completed its transformation to Kung Fu Kitchen. The interior has been redecorated, the patio is festooned with bright red lanterns, and the menu has been updated with a mix of new dishes and longtime favorites. Specialties include Grandmas’s Braised Pork Belly, Crazy Beef with Ghost Chili, Seafood Curry Stone Pot, and Pan-Fried Chicken with Szechuan Chili. Kung Fu Kitchen is open for lunch and dinner at Rockville Town Square, on the corner of Maryland and Beall Avenues.

Great as always. Any updates on Montgomery Mall? Not so much for stores playing musical chairs, but any long term plans to copy Pike and Rose or other mix use? Apple seems to be the store with live people in it.

I think Kung Fu Kitchen may have closed. Doors were locked on Friday and I’ve called them the last few days but no one has answered.
I called them just now thinking they may have closed for the holidays, but again, no one answered.
I noticed Peter Chang opened a location in Gaithersburg last April. I believe it is next to Costco..
I will give them a try. I don’t recall seeing this in the Store Reporter last year.
