D.C.-area chef/restaurateur Peter Chang has sold his nine-year-old location at Rockville Town Square, turning it over to a longtime employee who has cooked alongside Chang for years. The restaurant has a new name— Kung Fu Kitchen — and will serve many longtime Chang favorites along with a selection of new dishes. Its dining room will be closed for renovations over the next few weeks, but takeout service will still be available until the planned reopening in June. Peter Chang operates nearly a dozen restaurants in Maryland, Virginia and D.C., including a new location near Costco in Gaithersburg.
