Pines of Rome, a Bethesda institution since 1972, is opening a satellite location in Rockville. The much-loved Italian eatery is taking over the former Congressional Deli space, around the corner from Mykonos Grill and facing the soon-to-close Bed Bath & Beyond. This new location, called Pines of Rome Express, is designed primarily for takeout with a limited pizza-focused menu and a small amount of seating. Owners hope to open in a couple of weeks.
