After two years and more than its share of construction delays, the newest Mykonos Restaurant is finally set to open Friday, June 13th at Cabin John Village. Mykonos replaces longtime local favorite Broadway Pizza, whose former space has been transformed into an upscale Greek restaurant with an indoor/outdoor U-shaped bar. (The patio area is still in progress and should be ready later this summer.) Co-owner Angelo Mitsotakis, who also owns Mykonos Grill and Gyroland in Rockville, says his longtime customers will find some of their old favorites on the menu — along with new options like branzino baked in salt crust, lamb shank with pasta, seafood youvetsi and Greek-style paella.
