Plans are coming together quickly for Potomac’s new Mykonos Restaurant, moving into the old Broadway Pizza space at Cabin John Village. Owners Rodi Tzani and Angelo Mitsotakis will be flying in a chef from Greece to develop new dishes showcasing steak, seafood, vegetarian entrées and Greek-style paella. The design will include an open kitchen, indoor/outdoor U-shaped bar, and a pergola-topped outdoor patio featuring a fireplace and seating for 100 people. The restaurant will be open late, with live music some weekends and brunch every Sunday. Mitsotakis also wants his longtime customers to know that this new restaurant is not a replacement for the original Mykonos Grill, which will continue to operate at its longtime location in Rockville.
