Pan-Asian restaurant Taipei Tokyo has closed its doors at the Fallsgrove shopping center on Shady Grove Road. But a replacement is already on the way: Kung Fu 12, a Baltimore-based Chinese restaurant specializing in spicy Szechuan cuisine, is expected to open its doors this fall. (Kung Fu 12 is not to be confused with the similarly named Kung Fu Kitchen, the successor to Peter Chang at Rockville Town Square.) Fans of Taipei Tokyo can continue to visit its other location at the Metro Pike Shopping Center on Rockville Pike.
