There’s an newly empty space at Rockville’s Talbott Center, as Dan’s Fan City has closed after four decades on the Pike. Dan’s was known for its personal service and small-business feel, but it was actually part of a chain with three dozen locations — most of them in Florida. No word yet on who will take over this spot.
