Local restaurateur Adam Greenberg, longtime owner of Potomac Pizza and newly minted owner of Hunter’s Bar and Grill, is further expanding his Potomac Village empire. In the vacant space next door to Potomac Pizza, Greenberg will open the third location of his breakfast-and-lunch spot Bagels ‘n Grinds. This is something of a full-circle moment for Greenberg, who once ran Potomac Village Deli in the very same spot. Bagels ‘n Grinds, which also has locations in College Park and Hanover, makes its own bagels as well as sandwiches, salads, soups and espresso drinks. In Potomac, the two restaurants will have separate front entrances but share a common beverage bar with self-serve coffees, teas and sodas. In the evenings, Bagels & Grinds will close and Potomac Pizza will take over the entire space, offering an expanded full-service Italian menu plus a brand new bar. If all goes well, renovations to the combined restaurants will be done by September 2024.
