January always bring some closings at Westfield Montgomery mall, and this year is no exception. In the past few weeks we’ve noted the departures of three longtime tenants: teen retailer Aéropostale, sunglass store Specs New York, and the Ricky Alessandro Salon. (The salon is still in business at Potomac Woods Plaza.) What’s next for Westfield Montgomery? Not much at the moment. Only two new leases have been announced so far: Uniqlo, which is taking over the former Express space, and Subway, which replaces J. Chow’s. Opening dates for both are TBD.
