Five years after the Zohra salon relocated from Cabin John Village to Park Potomac, owner Ofeer Marwani is on the move again. This time he’s heading across the street, taking over the long-empty Gym & Tonic space on Park Potomac Avenue. Zohra’s current home, originally built for D.C. stylist Erwin Gomez, had privacy stalls and extra space that worked well during the Covid era. “But we’ve been waiting for awhile to get something a bit more efficient,” Marwani says. For the next six months or so, he and Zohra’s four other stylists will be working out of the Sola salon suites on Research Boulevard in Rockville. The new Zohra is expected to open this winter.
