As we predicted back in March, food hall The Block closed its doors this week at Pike & Rose. Originally envisioned as an all-Asian dining spot with a central bar, The Block has seen many food purveyors come and go since it opened in 2019. The selection eventually included tacos, cheesesteaks and other decidedly non-Asian cuisines, but many of the recent vendors had departed when we stopped by in early April. What’s next for this space? We’re hearing a Japanese restaurant or some other Asian concept. Stay tuned to Store Reporter for the latest.
