Small Door, a New York-based chain of veterinary clinics, opened its first Maryland location this week at the Wildwood shopping center. The interior resembles a chic boutique hotel, from the Instagrammable waiting room to the minimalist black-and-white pet art on the walls. The Wildwood location is Small Door’s fourth in the D.C. area, where it’s planning an aggressive expansion. You’ll find it next to Piccoli Piatti in the space that previously belonged to Red Orchard, which relocated last year to a larger storefront.
