The Container Store filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy last week, but it’s business as usual at Rockville’s Congressional Plaza location. The shelves are well-stocked, orders are being fulfilled, and merchandise credits are still being honored. The Texas-based retailer has raised $40 million, and its new investors plan to stage a turnaround by taking the company private. Rockville’s Container Store, one of the busiest in the country, will remain open for the foreseeable future.
