Dick’s Warehouse Sale, a popular stop at Rockville’s Congressional Plaza since 2022, has changed its name to Going, Going, Gone! Inside the store, not much has changed: It’s still a Dick’s spinoff that sells athletic wear and sports shoes at deep discounts. But while Dick’s Warehouse Sale was intended to be a popup, this revamped concept has settled in with a long-term lease and a permanent sign out front. Elsewhere at Congressional Plaza, Buy Buy Baby is entering its final weeks in business and the Le Bonday boutique has gone dark. On the good-news front, The Container Store has emerged from Chapter 11 and is now a private company.
