Rakugaki, a new sister restaurant to local favorite Raku, is just about ready to launch at the Wildwood shopping center. Managing partner Marcel The, who also oversees two locations in D.C. and one in downtown Bethesda, tells us he’s hoping to get this one open by the middle of March. The sushi-centric menu will be similar to the other Raku restaurants, with one major addition: a variety of fresh Japanese noodles made in-house. The bar will specialize in Japanese whiskey, shochu and sake.
