Mexican restaurant Plaza Oaxaca opens its doors this weekend at Rockville Town Square — just in time to take advantage of the new Streetery on Gibbs. Meanwhile, another new eatery is on the way to the Square: Thai Chef Street Food, based in D.C., is moving into the former Thai Pavilion space on Maryland Avenue. The menu will feature Bangkok-style specialties like barbecue pork and fried catfish. Doors are expected to open in late summer.
