Little Miner Taco, a DMV-based food truck-turned-restaurant-chain, has opened its doors at Rockville Town Square. On the menu: tacos, quesadillas, burritos, bowls, nachos, loaded fries, and traditional Mexican drinks like agua de jamaica (iced tea made with dried hibiscus flowers) and agua de tamarindo (a tart and sweet drink made from tamarind pods). Little Miner previously had a kiosk inside The Block food hall at Pike & Rose, which shut down last spring. Its new address: 39 Maryland Avenue, in the former Vie de France space. Little Miner is the second restaurant to open at Rockville Town Square this summer, following the debut of Kusshi Sushi in early July.
