Kapow Buddy, the newest Thai restaurant in town, has opened its doors at Westfield Montgomery mall. The fast-casual spot serves up Thai street food and bowls with meat, chicken or tofu over rice, assorted vegetables and sauces. Also: Thai teas, Thai coffees and specialty lemonades. Owner Prompas “Kuen” Deeprachakorn, a native of Thailand, hopes this will be the first of multiple locations in the DMV. You’ll find Kapow Buddy in the old Aroma Coffee space, most recently occupied by the short-lived Butter Me Up.
