Fangyán, a boutique showcasing clothes and accessories from young Chinese designers, is closing its doors after 18 months at Westfield Montgomery mall. The whimsical, creative fashions set this store apart from everything else at the mall, but staffers say it didn’t bring in enough business. Fangyán fans can still shop the store at its other location in Georgetown.

Saw it for the first time last weekend. I never “see” the stores behind the Nordstrom wing escalators.
