Latest addition to the Cabin John Village dining lineup: Capo Italian Deli, a D.C. favorite that’s making its Montgomery County debut. The menu features hot and cold sub sandwiches; Italian dishes like eggplant parmigiana and ricotta-stuffed shells; and traditional desserts like cannoli, tiramisu and banana bread pudding. Capo, a sister business to Bethesda’s Brickside Food & Drink, made national news early in the pandemic for its “Fauci Pouchy” cocktails-to-go. Opening date and location TBD — but word is that Capo will be the replacement for the departing Goldberg’s Bagels. (More on that in our March 17th edition.)
