Huge news for the dining scene at Cabin John Village: Bethesda Bagels is on the way. “What better location could there be to hit our target market in the heart of Potomac?” says Danny Fleishman, president of the family-owned business. He hopes to open next summer in the empty space to the right of CVS, which was designed for a restaurant but has never been occupied. At 2,800 square feet, this will be one of Bethesda Bagels’ largest locations and will include a small amount of seating. In addition to bagels made on-site, the menu will also include coffee, sandwiches, tuna salad, egg salad, and salmon from Ivy City Smokehouse. The restaurant will open at 6:30 or 7 the morning, Fleishman says, and it may stay open past 3 p.m. if afternoon business is brisk.
