Just about every store is brimming with Christmas regalia at this time of year, but finding a good selection of Chanukah decor can seem like a miracle. Ready to spend some gelt? We’ve scoped out the two best spots in Rockville for Chanukah goods: HomeGoods at White Flint Plaza (off Nicholson Lane) and Homesense at Montrose Crossing (off Rockville Pike). Both stores are owned by TJX Company, so there’s some overlap in what they carry. But you’ll find plenty to choose from at either one: menorahs and candles of all kinds, festive dishes, mugs, latke platters, dreidel lights, porch signs, throw pillows and lots of Chanukah tchotchkes. At HomeGoods, the Chanukah merchandise covers several aisles at the back right section of the store. At Homesense, it’s scattered among a half-dozen kiosks on the store’s left side.
