Huge news for the food scene at Westfield Montgomery mall: D.C.-area favorite Andy’s Pizza is heading to the Dining Terrace. The seven-year-old chain, which has landed on countless best-pizza lists for its 72-hour-fermented dough and charred crusts, will open next year between Cava and Chipotle. This space was previously occupied by another local pizza chain, Gusto, and before that it was home to Lobster ME. It’s been empty for more than five years, since the early days of the pandemic.

In other mall news:

  • Gold Bunny Donut is hopping into the corner spot between Macy’s Home and the former 7-Eleven/Chocolate Moonshine space. This revolving-door location was most recently home to Donutchew.
  • The See’s Candies pop-up holiday shop will be in the Nordstrom wing this year, opening between Everything but Water and Anya by Vivien.
  • Qtoys, a chain aimed at younger kids, is taking the space between Perfume World and Läderach.
  • A claw machine store, Kako, is taking the space next to GameStop. The mall already has a similar store, Capsule Galaxy, which opened last year next door to Lego.
