Just in time for the summer blockbuster season, the AMC movie theater at Westfield Montgomery mall has wrapped up a year-long renovation. Gone are the reds and blues of the old ArcLight Cinema days, replaced by a muted lobby with a kiosk-driven snack bar. All of the projectors have been updated, and every seat in the house is now a cushy recliner. That last change means fewer seats overall: The smallest theater now holds about 40 people, while the largest tops out at 150. Ticket prices, not surprisingly, have also gone up. They now range from $8 at off-peak hours to $19 most evenings.
