Two years after D.C. restaurant group H2 Collective took over Normandie Farm, we finally have an update on what’s ahead for the historic Potomac restaurant. Store Reporter has learned that Virginia’s Vanish Farmwoods Brewery will be a partner in the redevelopment of Normandie Farm and its six-and-a-half-acre property on Falls Road. Vanish is also working with H2 to operate a beer garden and music venue at the newly reopened Comus Inn on Sugarloaf Mountain. At its original brewery in Leesburg, Vanish hosts a busy schedule of live music, bingo, comedy shows, craft shows, sip-and-paint classes, dog-friendly “yappy hours” and the like. Is that what’s ahead for the Normandie Farm property? H2 still has no comment. But we’re getting ready to fill our mugs.
