Something to look forward to after the holidays: Cafe/bakery/coffee house Tatte, which just opened a new location at Bethesda’s Westbard Square, has set a date of Jan. 29th for its debut on Rockville Pike. The Boston-based chain has exploded here in the past few years, with nearly 20 locations in the D.C. area. In Rockville, construction is just about finished at the Towne Plaza shopping center next door to Comfort One Shoes. The long-quiet center, once home to Chef Geoff’s, will be much busier in 2025: In addition to Tatte, newcomer California Fish Grille is also on the way. The fast-casual chain will offer a moderately priced menu of salads, rice platters, wraps and tacos.
