Potomac Villagers will have to make their coffee at home for awhile, as Starbucks in the Village just closed its doors for a month-long makeover. When it reopens, the shop will have a brand new layout that’s designed to get your drinks out more quickly. Most of the seating will now be in the front, we’re told, and much of it will be in the form of benches instead of chairs. Also: The Starbucks Reserve section at the rear, which was added when this store was last renovated in 2017, will not be part of the new design.
