D.C. restaurant chain Shouk, which has been serving our area with “food drops” throughout the pandemic, will open a brick-and-mortar Rockville location this fall. Owner Ran Nussbacher has leased space at the Montrose Shopping Center on Randolph Road — home of Mom’s Organic Market and Spring Mill Bread Co. — where he’ll offer takeout, delivery and a bit of indoor/outdoor seating. Named after the lively street markets in Israel, Shouk offers a kosher, plant-based menu centered on vegetables, beans, grains and spices.
