Just in time for the start of the holiday shopping season, the dining lineup at Westfield Montgomery mall is getting a few new additions.

  • Wetzel’s Pretzels fans have waited 18 months for those sweet and salty treats, and the Wetzel’s ovens finally fired up this week. You can try them for yourself on the mall’s second level, between the Dining Terrace and Macy’s.
  • Right next door to Wetzel’s, Kami Ramen Bar is expected to open shortly.
  • Shotted, the Saudi-inspired coffee shop serving specialty drinks and Middle Eastern desserts, is about to open in the former Gold Bunny Donut space near Chick-fil-A. Shotted has become a popular gathering spot in northern Virginia, where it has one location at Tysons Corner Center and another at Tysons Galleria.
  • There’s still no word on the timing of Esvin’s Bagels and Cafe, which is supposed to take over the long-empty Blaze Pizza space with bagels, sandwiches, salads, pastries, milkshakes, coffee and Latin-themed drinks.
