Despite the fact that nearly everyone you know has adopted a dog during the pandemic, the Pet Valu retail chain is going out of business after 25 years. The Pennsylvania-based company says coronavirus “significantly impacted” its sales, and all 358 stores will be closing — including the ones at Cabin John Village and Fallsgrove. Clearance sales begin this weekend.
