If you’re shopping for festive Chanukah decor at Rockville’s busiest retailers, you’ll find the pickings are awfully slim this year. Michaels and Target have almost nothing, Party City is gone, and even the usually reliable HomeGoods has a much smaller selection than last year. But miracle of miracles: The standout this season is Homesense off Rockville Pike, a sister store to HomeGoods. There you’ll find a bounty of Chanukah delights: plates, platters, tablecloths, candles, mugs, menorahs and more. Look for Homesense on the back side of Montrose Crossing, in the space that once belonged to A.C. Moore.

The synagogue Judaica shops are full of Hanukkah decor, toys, books, menorahs etc. They are also tax free and non profits so you are supporting a good cause as most profits go to various charities!

Great suggestion!
