Green Bamboo, a longtime local restaurant serving Chinese, Japanese and Thai cuisine, has closed its doors on Fishers Lane in Rockville. But the space won’t be empty for long: New owners are renovating and plan to reopen with a different Asian menu. Meanwhile, at nearby Montrose Crossing, Taiwanese eatery Bao Bei is getting close to opening its first brick-and-mortar location. The three-year-old business has been operating out of a shared kitchen space up to now, earning a local following for its bao buns and Taiwanese street food.
