This week we say goodbye to China Gourmet Bistro, one of the last remaining businesses in the path of the new thruway planned for Cabin John Village. In the months to come, the middle of the ’60s-era shopping center will be torn down to make way for a central corridor lined with new stores and restaurants. Other businesses have already cleared out, including Breadsmith (permanently closed) and The Grilled Oyster (moved to Kentlands). The last to leave will be Capital One Bank, which is relocating to a new building in the back of the center. We’ve been hearing about some pretty exciting businesses on the way to Cabin John Village. Stay tuned to Store Reporter for the latest.
