Discount retailer Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, is set to open April 22nd at Montrose Crossing. The clothing and homegoods store replaces Barnes & Noble, which relocated in 2020 to a smaller space on the opposite side of Rockville Pike. At Montrose Crossing, Burlington joins a savings-oriented lineup that already includes Marshalls, Value City Furniture, Bob’s Discount Furniture and Target. Also on the way is Homesense, a discount chain owned by T.J. Maxx that’s now under construction in the old A.C. Moore space.
