Two longtime tenants are reaching the end of their tenures at Cabin John Village. Robert Phillips, who owns Broadway Pizza, says the shopping center declined to renew his lease. “We’d love to stay another six months if they’ll have us,” Phillips tells us, but he’s renting month-to-month and expects to exit as soon as a new tenant is signed. Closing even sooner, possibly at the end of December, is the Baskin Robbins ice cream shop. Owners tell us they weren’t given the option to stay — and rumor has it that a Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream will take their place. Cabin John’s owner, Edens, declined to comment just yet.
