No dumplings here: Asian food hall scraps plans for the Pike

In the Projects That Never Happened Department: The Asian food hall that was supposed to open at Rockville’s Pike Center appears to be dead. Luna Hall, a D.C.-based business with four locations in the DMV, was going to transform the former Bagel City and Cici’s Pizza spaces with a lineup that included Dumpling District, Kung Fu Tea and Tous Les Jours. First announced in 2023, Luna was supposed to open last summer but construction never got under way. Now it seems the entire project has collapsed, and the space is up for lease once again. Meanwhile: Another food hall, Wonder, is opening soon on Rockville Pike with a wide variety of cuisines.
