So who’s taking over the former ArcLight Cinema at Westfield Montgomery mall? No one is confirming yet, but we’re reasonably certain that it’s AMC. The world’s largest movie chain, which already runs the theaters at Westfield Wheaton and Rio Lakefront, has picked up several ArcLight locations since the company went out of business last spring. At Westfield Montgomery, where the screens have been dark since early 2020, moviegoers have been clamoring for the curtains to rise again. Will AMC be able to get this theater back in business ASAP?
