If you’re newly vaccinated and returning to Westfield Montgomery mall for the first time since 2020, you’re going to discover a very different landscape. Half the eateries have shut their doors, including French bakery Patisserie Manuel just a few days ago. More than a dozen stores are gone as well, from Abercrombie & Fitch, Eyebobs, Godiva and Microsoft to Clarks, Marmi, Steve Madden and The Walking Company. Just this week, bean bag store Yogibo was the latest to leave. Still, there are some signs of a renaissance among the wreckage.
