After winning over local foodies during its first year in business, No Regrets Pizza Co. is upping the ante. Owner Richard Weiner is making plans for a second location in downtown Bethesda, and he’s also expanding his flagship space on Nicholson Lane. Like the original No Regrets, on the ground floor of the Harwood Flats apartment building, the new one will be tucked into the ground floor of The Sophia on Fairmont Avenue. It will serve the same three types of pizza: Neapolitan, Roman and New York-style. But while the original No Regrets is a full-service restaurant with a broad Italian menu, the second will be fast-casual and takeout-focused. Carryout business has been huge at Harwood Flats, Weiner says, and he’s using some of the additional space to create a separate takeout area with a dedicated oven. Also on the way: patio upgrades, including a roof and weather protection for year-round dining.
